We are postponing this conversation due to weather. We will discuss chapters 1 & 2 next week.
You are invited to meet in the Ellington Agricultural Center's Iris Garden across from the Crievewood sanctuary to discuss Rowan Willams’ Being Christian. The book is a short summary of how Christians from around the world, throughout history, and in various traditions have been faithful through baptism, Bible, Eucharist, and prayer. We will discuss a chapter a week, and meet from 6:15 - 7:30 pm on Wednesdays for four weeks.
Children are welcome to join, but there will be no official childcare. There is space to play nearby and in-sight while we eat and talk together. Please bring your own food, and note that these gatherings will be weather dependent. If it rains, the gathering will be cancelled. Please let Fr. Danny know if you plan on joining. Even if you aren’t able to participate in the weekly gatherings, Fr. Danny highly recommends this book.
